Stephen J. Bruce, MD is originally from Ogden. Dr. Bruce earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska, followed by a three year residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Bruce specializes in preventive medicine, cancer screening, child development and issues of aging.

John Hemmersmeier, MD welcomes new patients of all ages to his practice. He is committed to providing exceptional care in a compassionate and patient-focused environment. Dr. Hemmersmeier received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. After medical school he completed a residency in Family Medicine at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC, one of the top medical centers in the country. While at Duke, he received special training in quality care programs. Dr. Hemmersmeier's clinical interests are physician-patient communication, management of chronic illnesses, older patients, pediatrics, sports injuries, and prevention and health maintenance programs.

Philippa Augustin, MD, is board Certified in Family Practice, she earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and went on to complete residency at the University of Texas-San Antonio Health Science Center. Dr. Augustin’s clinical interests are in orthopedics and dermatology.

John White MD earned his MD at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He joined the SOCFM providers in September, 2002. Dr. White and his wife, Loretta, a Fulbright scholar and Pulitzer prize winning journalist, lived overseas for three years for her work as a foreign news correspondent. While in China, and at the UCLA School of Medicine Dr. White studied acupuncture, a service he will offer to his patients, primarily for musuloskeletal pain due to injuries. Dr. White truly enjoys talking with and getting to know his patients, particularly children, and looks forward to a busy family practice.

Michael D.Woolman, MD is originally from Grand Blane, Michigan, and earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Woolman completed his internship and residency training in the family practice program at Midland Hospital in Midland, Michigan. Dr. Woolman specializes in sports medicine, pediatrics, preventive medicine and health care for older adults.

Alan Bybee PA-C earned his physician assistant degree from Western Michigan University in 1984. Alan has many years of experience in comprehensive family medicine, family planning, women’s health care and occupational medicine.

Michael Severance PA-C, ATC is a graduate of the University of Utah physician assistant program. Mike is certified as a PA and in Sports Medicine. His areas of specialized training include; sports and athletic injuries and evaluations, pre-participation physicals for sports and athletics, and non-operative musculo-skeletal injuries.

Parker Ward PA-C is a Utah native who served as a P.A. in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Parker graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant program in 1985 and has worked extensively in both pediatrics and family practice.
